A child is an individual. With their own thoughts, preferences, personality.

They may not be as calm as we want, as brilliant as we aspire, as obedient as convenient, as talented as we once thought we were.

But they are one of a kind. Once we accept, we can understand them better and support them to find their unique place in this world.  Wouldn’t you agree?
